Illuminations is a site specific installation with photographs, writings, objects, sound, projection and scent. It was featured at the Ivy Brown Gallery in New York City in 2014, and later followed by a C-print exhibit at the Roger Smith Hotel.

In 2002, Florence's relationship was slowly falling apart and while trying to save her relationship, Florence began photographing her partner and herself every night. The camera shutter was left opened for 3 to 8 hours every night in their darkened bedroom. It is a private journal, documenting time and memory, where present meets past.
